Bruno Cathomen assumes office as CEO

Biel, 3 October 2011, 7.00 a.m. - As already announced in the media
release dated 27 April 2011, Bruno Cathomen, Head of the Mikron
Machining Division, also assumed office as CEO of the Mikron Group
with effect from 1 October 2011.

Graduate engineer Bruno Cathomen (44) has headed the Mikron Machining
Division since October 2009. He was previously employed in senior
positions at ABB technology group and at Elcoteq Network Corporation.
