Klagenfurt, March 12, 2008 - The resolution passed by the 10th
Annual General Meeting on May 18, 2007 authorized the Managing Board
to repurchase up to 10% of the issued capital of SW Umwelttechnik
Stoiser & Wolschner AG during a period of 18 months beginning
on the date this resolution was passed, in accordance with §
65 Par. 1 Nr. 8 und Par. 1a of Austrian Stock Corporation Act,
for stabilisation purposes.

On March 12, 2008 the Managing Board has decided to use this
authorization. It is planned to buy back up to 6.599 shares which
represents 1% of the current issued capital of E 4.798.192,73 for
the period between March 14 and the end of August 2008. The
repurchase will be executed at the current market price over the
Vienna Stock Exchange, with a maximum of E 100.-and a minimum of E
1.-per share.

Any changes to the share buyback and transactions will be published on the SW
Umwelttechnik website www.sw-umwelttechnik.com under Investor
Relations/Corporate Governance/Director's Dealings.

Founded in 1910, SW Umweltechnik remains a family business, though it
has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 1997. The group
is widely identified with sustainable enterprise and rapid
expansion in Central and Southeastern Europe. Its innovative
environmental technology products are contributing to
infrastructure renewal in CSE countries. SW Umwelttechnik employed
800 people at 16 sites and returned revenue of over E100m in 2006.
