Kronach, 28 October 2013. - Loewe is able to announce that it has received
an initial specific, written offer from a financial investor that has
declared it is prepared to support Loewe's strategic realignment concept in
the long term. The offer, which has yet to be finalised and implemented,
entail the acquisition of the operative business of the Loewe Group as well
as the principal assets of Loewe AG; the investor is not planning to take
stakes or acquire Loewe AG itself. Loewe will now assess and evaluate the
submitted proposal in detail. The aim is to solve the outstanding points
over the next few weeks, and to finalise the necessary contractual
documentation. Conclusion of a specific agreement with a new investor
represents a crucial building block within the context of the strategic
realignment of Loewe. It is also possible that further offers could be
received, possibly with other transaction structures.
