Announcement according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG (share)

1. On February 6, 2013, Mr. Colin Moran, USA, has notified us pursuant to
section 21 (1) WpHG that his percentage of voting rights in SMT Scharf AG, Hamm,
Germany, has exceeded the threshold of 3% and amounted to 3.002% (126,065 voting
rights) as of February 4, 2013.

Of these voting rights, 3.002% (126,065 voting rights) are attributed to him
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 6 in connection with sentence 2 WpHG.

Of these voting rights, 3.002% (126,065 voting rights) are also attributed to
him pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 2 in connection with sentence 2
WpHG.

2. On February 6, 2013, Abdiel Capital Advisors LLC, New York, USA, has notified
us pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that its percentage of voting rights in SMT
Scharf AG, Hamm, Germany, has exceeded the threshold of 3% and amounted to
3.002% (126,065 voting rights) as of February 4, 2013.

Of these voting rights, 3.002% (126,065 voting rights) are attributed to them
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.

3. On February 6, 2013, Abdiel Capital Management LLC, New York, USA, has
notified us pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that its percentage of voting rights
in SMT Scharf AG, Hamm, Germany, has exceeded the threshold of 3% and amounted
to 3.002% (126,065 voting rights) as of February 4, 2013.

Of these voting rights, 3.002% (126,065 voting rights) are attributed to them
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 2 in connection with sentence 2 WpHG.
