GENEVA, March 30, 2012 -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE /
Euronext Paris / SIX: WFT) ("Weatherford") today informs its
shareholders that a Form 8-K and a preliminary prospectus supplement
have been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
("SEC"). The Form 8-K includes information regarding Weatherford's
ratio of earnings to fixed charges for the years ended December 31,
2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007. The preliminary prospectus
supplement relates to an offering of senior notes by Weatherford
International Ltd., a Bermuda exempted company ("Weatherford
Bermuda") and a subsidiary of Weatherford. The preliminary
prospectus supplement and the Form 8-K are available on the SEC's
website at http://www.sec.gov. Weatherford and Weatherford
International, Inc., a Delaware corporation and subsidiary of
Weatherford, will fully and unconditionally guarantee the notes on a
senior, unsecured basis. The net proceeds from this offering will be
