Pertinence and Intercim Announce Business Merger

Paris (ots/PRNewswire) - Pertinence announced today that it has
signed a definitive agreement to merge with US based Intercim. The
combined company, Intercim, LLC, will offer the industry's most
complete enterprise execution solution comprising Intercim's
manufacturing execution software (MES) and Pertinence's
state-of-the-industry manufacturing intelligence capabilities.

Joining forces significantly enhances both companies' market and

Pertinence's global presence, Intercim, LLC will offer a unique set
of capabilities to manufacturing customers where time and yield are
critical: aerospace & defense, semiconductor, automotive and life

The combined company will serve European customers from a new
division, Intercim Europe, led by former Pertinence CEO, Amelie

Intercim headquarters will remain in suburban St. Paul, Minn.
while Intercim's European office will be located in Paris. The
company announced there would be no layoffs expected as a result of
the business merger.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The business merger is
subject to various closing conditions and is expected to close in the
third quarter of 2007.
