Focused on the Entertainment Electronics / During the IFA Ingram Micro is presenting itself in Hall 26 Stand No 302

Berlin (ots) - Between 1st and 6th September the
International Radio- and Television Exhibition (Internationale
Funkausstellung - IFA), the world's biggest exhibition for consumer
electronics (CE), is taking place in Berlin. Focusing on the
entertainment electronics, Ingram Micro is already taking part at
this exhibition in Berlin for the second time. The broad-segmenter is
representing itself across almost one hundred square metres of
exhibition space in Hall 26, Stand No 302, together with its partners
from its entertainment electronics portfolio, the services it
provides in the field of e-commerce and e-services as well as its'
trademark V7 Videoseven.

Convergence is part of the Company's strategy

For six days, starting on 1st September, Berlin is once again the
centre of attention for the specialists coming from the field of
consumer electronics, radio and television. The International Radio-
and Television Exhibition IFA will then open its doors and will
probably break all records with this year's 1200 exhibitors coming
from 40 different countries. Following its' premiere during last
year's exhibition, Ingram Micro is now taking part for the second
time. The broad-segmenter is presenting itself to the specialist
visitors across almost one hundred square metres of exhibition space
(Stand No 302). Apart from the acquisition of new customers and to
further customer contact, the distributor is concentrating to
represent itself as a distributor of entertainment electronics. "The
International Radio- and Television Exhibition IFA is the leading
European exhibition for entertainment electronics. During the last
years Ingram Micro has continuously extended its' portfolio in the
field of entertainment electronics. The central theme for us here as
well as within the B2B-segment is: 'One supplier for everything - One

Manufacturers of Entertainment Electronics at the Stand

There are numerous manufacturers coming from the convergence
section: amongst them Samsung with their MP3 portfolio, Benq showing
their current products from the TV- and projection section, Bufffalo
presenting their network- and memory solutions as well as Link
Theatre, a combination of DVD-Player and Wireless Entertainment
Center, Rapsody showing their HDD-Players and, of course, the
trademarks of Ingram Micro V7 Videoseven with their attractive offers
of LCD-TVs. Furthermore, Ingram Micro will also introduce their
Inhouse-Services for the section of e-commerce and e-services. For
the interested visitors, specialists will be available to explain the
possibilities of online ordering directly from Ingram Micro as well
as the e-services, which, for example, include the availability of
e-shops or a delivery service for product data. On top of this, the
international aspect of this exhibition is being looked after: Ingram
Micro has ascertained that contact persons from their Export
Department will be present at their stand.

An energy boost for the visitors
Worn out by the exhibition? Every afternoon at the Ingram Micro
Stand an alternative refreshment will be handed out to the visitors.
