Offer price for aleo solar shares set at EUR 13.50

OLDENBURG/PRENZLAU, 13th July 2006. The offer price for shares in
aleo solar AG (ISIN DE000A0JM634) has been set at EUR 13.50 In a
difficult market environment the company managed to place all
7,033,061 registered no-par value ordinary shares (including a
greenshoe of 917,355). The transaction is lead by COMMERZBANK
CORPORATES & MARKETS as Sole Bookrunner and Global Coordinator, HVB
Corporates & Markets and Berenberg Bank. The company will receive
gross proceeds of approx. EUR 38.5 million from the sale of 2,850,400
new shares resulting from a capital increase resolved in connection
with the initial public offering. Trading in shares of aleo solar
will commence in the Official Market (Amtlicher Markt) / Prime
Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on July 14, 2006.

Information and Explanation of the Issuer to this Ad Hoc-Release:
Aleo solar AG intends to use the net proceeds that will accrue to it
from the Offering to finance further organic and external growth, to
implement and finance its strategic goals as well as for general
business purposes. In particular, the Company intends to use the net
proceeds to achieve further international expansion, secure the
supply of solar cells, acquire companies or parts thereof and
investments as well as to effect an appropriate increase in working
capital for growing and developing the system business.
