Monaco (ots) - Hall B6 - Stand 402 Solarday, Italian leader for
the production of PV module, will introduce a prototype named SPIM: a
new electronic device that transforms PV module in an intelligent
node of a wireless network able to communicate with a remote
Supervisor. The new product, right now available only for pilot
plants, will be introduced for testing purposes during Intersolar
thanks to a user powered by PV modules to simulate malfunction or
module theft. In the future SPIM will allow the measurement of
electrical parameters of each single PV module, the monitoring of
measured parameters on the field compared to the rated parameters of
each module whatever is the size of the plant. SPIM will also inhibit
the module in case of theft.

thousand modules per year in polycrystalline, Solarday has closed
2008 with a turnover of 58MLN euros and a production of 100 thousand
PV modules , forecast for 2009 is a further expansion of production

built in 2006 at Mezzago in the province of Milan, is one of the
largest PV industries in Italy, with more than 100 workers between
employers and consultants. The production quality control and
research are coordinated by a team of skilled engineers with over 20
years of experience in PV sector, the advanced production equipment
enabled Solarday to obtain certification by the German TUV, IEC
61215.
