TORR Canada Appoints Senior Vice-President Sales and Business Development

Montreal, Canada (ots/PRNewswire) - TORR Canada Inc. (TSX-V: TOR)
("TCI"), a leader in the extraction of hydrocarbons from produced
water, announced today the appointment of Mr. Ray Cocomello, P. Eng
as Senior Vice-President Sales and Business Development.

the addition of Mr. Cocomello to our senior management group, our
recent financing and the momentum gained from recent sales, TCI has

Mr. Cocomello has 32 years experience as an engineer specialized
in industrial sales of heavy equipment for national and international
markets for multinational companies. He is a proven leader in all
aspects of his field, including sales force organization, product
development, and negotiation of license agreements and technology
transfer.

His first assignment will be to build a strong sales team with
offices in Calgary, Houston (including the Gulf of Mexico market),
the Middle East and Aberdeen (Scotland). Each office will have a
small focused team consisting of engineers and sales professionals.
