As the new member of the Board of Management responsible for global
sales, Sven Wilms is to manage all international activities of USU.
The leading German developer of applications for business service
management thus intends to advance its international business. The
target is to achieve a share of sales exceeding 15% by 2010. Wilms
will join the USU management team as of January 1, 2009. The 48-year
old manager with international experience had previously made a
significant contribution to global expansion as a member of the
extended Management Board of IDS Scheer AG, which achieved a
considerable upturn in profit and sales. For the last 2 years, Wilms
has been responsible for all product and customer activities in
Central Europe in his role as Senior Vice President and General
Manager. The manager with a degree in engineering and business had
already gained international experience during his 10 years at IBM
where he held various management positions in European software
sales.

In the wake of the new international direction, the focal point is
the expansion of the European partner business into Great Britain,
Benelux, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Our existing activities in
Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the USA as well as in the Middle East
are also to be intensified and expanded. With his many years´
experience in the global software product business, Sven Wilms is
ideally qualified for the task.

With its integrated Valuemation product line, USU addresses all
issues relating to business service management in line with ITIL.
Current studies of independent US market analysts such as Forrester,
Gartner and ECP repeatedly feature Valuemation and confirm that USU
is one of the globally recognized providers in this growth market. On
the basis of this portfolio, intensified internationalization is
forming a further consistent strategic cornerstone of the USU Group.
In the last 2 years, USU has already successfully implemented the
largest European IT management projects, e.g. at Poste Italiane,
Deutsche Telekom and Fiducia.
