Trading Act (WpHG - German Stock Exchange Act). We have received the
following notification in accordance with the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG - German Stock Exchange Act): Morgan Stanley,
Wilmington, Delaware (USA), reported the following to the Management
Board in a letter dated October 08, 2008:

"Notification pursuant to Section 21 para 1 (Stimmrechtsmitteilung)
and Section 24 of the German Securities Trading Act concerning
Solar-Fabrik Aktiengesellschaft für Produktion & Vertrieb von
solartechnischen Produkten ("Solar-Fabrik AG")

Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, Delaware DE 19801, USA ("Morgan
Stanley"), herewith notifies you on its own behalf and on behalf of
such further subsidiaries as mentioned below pursuant Section 21 para
1 and Section 24 German Securities Trading Act that:

1) MSDW Equity Finance Services I (Cayman) Ltd., George Town, Grand
Cayman, Cayman Islands on 06 October, 2008, has fallen below the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG, Munzinger
Str. 10, 79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, and on that day holds
2.81% of the voting rights (=328,483 shares each carrying one voting
right); and

2) The holding entitiy of MSDW Equity Finance Services I (Cayman)
Ltd, MSDW Offshore Equity Services Inc., Wilmington, Delaware DE
19801, USA, on 06 October 2008, has also fallen below the thresholds
of 3% of the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG, Munzinger Str. 10,
79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, and on that day holds 2.81%
(=328,483 shares each carrying one voting right) whereby the
aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to
Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act.

3) The holding parent entity Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, Delaware DE
19801, USA, on 06 October 2008, has also fallen below the thresholds
of 3%, of the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG, Munzinger Str. 10,
79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany and on that day holds 2.81%
(=328,483 shares, each carrying one voting right) whereby these 2.81%
(328,483 shares, each carrying one voting right) of the voting rights
of Solar-Fabrik AG have to be attributed according to Section 22
para. 2 sent 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act.

4) This chain of entities is represented as follows (starting on the
