Gruenwald (ots) - TRE AG existing shareholders have signed for
13.404 new shares at a price of EUR20 per share

Tantalus Rare Earths AG ("TRE"), the explorer and developer of a
large near surface rare earths project in north western Madagascar,
is pleased to make the following announcement:

On 28 March 2013, whilst announcing approval by BaFin of its
prospectus, TRE also announced a share capital increase of up to
350,000 new no par value bearer shares and an offer to existing TRE
shareholders of 1 new share for 6 existing shares and, pursuant to
the announcement of 17 April 2013, a subscription price of EUR20 per
new share.

The period of time to subscribe for new shares for existing
shareholders was between 8 and 22 April 2013. The subscription period
has now expired and there is no longer any entitlement to subscribe
for new shares pursuant to the warrant.

A small number of existing shareholders have applied for new
shares. Existing shareholders have signed for a total of 13,404
shares (an oversubscription of 9,686 shares). Accordingly TRE has
raised the sum of EUR268,080.

TRE is currently in advanced discussions with a number of parties
to take up the remaining new shares and it is anticipated that a
further announcement will be made about a private placement but in
any event in the remaining time of the offer without warrant. The
minimum price will be at least EUR20 per share.

rights issue was at a premium and I am grateful to those shareholders
who have taken up the offer and for the trust they have shown both in
the company and to its management."
