München (euro adhoc) - Munich-based Data Modul AG is the market
leader in the field of display technology in Europe. Data Modul
develops, manufactures and distributes innovative flat-screen
displays, complete information systems incorporating the latest
innovative Easy Touch technology as well as embedded PCs and highly
integrated single board computers.

In the third quarter of the current 2010 financial year, the revenues
totaled 30.1 million euros, a 32.0% increase over the third quarter
of the previous year in which revenues of 22.8 million euros were
generated. Total revenue increased to 86.6 million euros in the first
three quarters of 2010 (2009: 71.4 million euros). Order entry in the
third quarter totaled 36.4 million euros (2009: 22.8 million euros),
an increase of 59.6%. Order entry in the first three quarters of 2010
increased to 98.2 million euros (2009: 72.6 million euros). Order
backlog increased to 72.4 million euros (2009: 63.1 million euros).
As a result of the positive revenue development and the effects of
the reorganization program initiated in 2009, the EBIT increased by
400% to 1.5 million euros (2009: 0.3 million euros) in the third
quarter of 2010 and thus totaled 4.6 million euros for the first nine
months of this year (2009: -0.6 million euros). The annual net income
totaled 2.8 million euros for the same period (2009: -1.2 million
euros), resulting in earnings per share of 0.79 euros in the first
nine months of 2010, compared to earnings per share of -0.39 euros
during the same period of 2009. At the end of September 2010, the
Corporation's equity ratio (in accordance with IFRS) amounted to
49.1% while Data Modul AG´s equity ratio (in accordance with the HGB
[German Commercial Code]) was 72.0%. Hence, the Corporation continues
to demonstrate its financial strength and remarkable liquidity.

In May 2010, bonus shares were issued thus increasing the number of shares by
10% to 3,526,182.

We expect the positive impact of the global economy's recovery to continue

influencing Data Modul's results for the fourth quarter of 2010.
Thus, we still expect Data Modul's revenues for 2010 to reach a
3-digit multi-million euro level and to deliver distinctly positive
earnings. We have a solid financial basis, long-term funding and a
clear corporate strategy. We shall continue to globalize Data Modul,
consolidate markets and add interesting technologies to our
portfolio. Our focus and all our activities will aim at the Industry
segment. To achieve this, we shall concentrate on organic growth
financed from our strong cash flow.
