a) Meritus Trust Company Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda

Pursuant to Section 21 Para. 1 WpHG Meritus Trust Company Limited notified us
that on September 22, 2010 they acquired from Butterfield Trust (Bermuda)
Limited all shares in Linetrust PTC Ltd and through this acquisition 14.8588% of
the voting rights (28,439,789 voting rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft as per
the end of the aforementioned day.

All these voting rights are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited pursuant
to Sections 22 para 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

Voting rights that are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited are held via
the following companies which are controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited
and whose holding of voting rights amounts to 3% or more in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft: EuroChem International Holding B.V., which is an undertaking
indirectly controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited through Linetrust PTC
Ltd., Linea Ltd., Eurochem Group SE (until September 22, 2010 MCC Holding Public
Company Limited) and OJSC MCC "EuroChem", directly holds 9.998 per cent
(19,136,595 voting rights).
Eurochem Group SE which is an undertaking indirectly controlled by Meritus Trust
Company Limited as described in the previous sentence, directly holds 4.8606 per
cent (9,303,194 voting rights).

b) Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda

Details of the notifying parties:
1. The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda
2. Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda

The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited, who control Butterfield Trust
(Bermuda) Limited, notified us in their name and on behalf of the latter
regarding the holding of voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft.

Pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 WpHG they notified us that on September 22, 2010
Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited disposed of all its shareholding in
Linetrust PTC Limited and thereby indirectly in K+S Aktiengesellschaft, namely
indirectly of 14.8588 % (28,439,789 voting rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft in
favour of Meritus Trust Company Limited so that as per the end of this day
neither the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited nor Butterfield Trust
(Bermuda) Limited directly or indirectly hold any voting rights in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft.

All these voting rights were attributed to The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son
Limited, and Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited pursuant to Section 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. via the following companies which until September 22, 2010
were controlled by The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited and whose holding
of voting rights amounts to 3 per cent or more in K+S Aktiengesellschaft:
EuroChem International Holding B.V., which was an undertaking indirectly
controlled by The Bank N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited through Butterfield Trust
(Bermuda) Limited, Linetrust PTC Ltd., Linea Ltd., Eurochem Group SE (until
September 22, 2010 MCC Holding Public Company Limited) and OJSC MCC "EuroChem",
directly held on September 22, 2010 9.998 per cent (19,136,595 voting rights).
Eurochem Group SE which until, September 22, 2010 was an undertaking indirectly
controlled by the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited as described in the
previous sentence, directly held on September 22, 2010 4.8606 per cent
(9,303,194 voting rights).
