Vienna, 1 October 2007. The stock exchange listed conwert Immobilien
Invest AG has today announced plans to purchase ECO Management GmbH,
the management company of ECO Business-Immobilien AG. In the course
of the therewith intended grouping of the real estate management
resources, as well as after the transformation of conwert into a
Societas Europaea (SE), Friedrich Scheck, chairman of the board of
directors of ECO Business-Immobilien AG, shall become managing
director of future conwert SE. In this context, Friedrich Scheck
shall, in the course of an extraordinary general meeting of ECO
Business-Immobilien AG to be held later this year, resign as chairman
of the board of directors and will be proposed as a member of the
supervisory board.

By means of the consolidated management structure under the umbrella
of the newly formed conwert SE, ECO should in future be able to
profit from a significantly broader management expertise and
capacity, as well as even better market access, than has previously
been the case. ECO´s strategic focus will in future also remain on
high-quality business real estate.
