Schrobenhausen, August 10, 2007 - BAUER Aktiengesellschaft (ISIN
DE0005168108) increases after a very good business development in the
Equipment segment its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for
the first half year 2007 significantly by more than 100% to 38.5
million Euro (previous year 18.5 million Euro). In the Equipment
segment Bauer offers a variety of ultra-modern machinery for special
foundation engineering. Net profit as at June 30th, 2007 was improved
by 215 % to 18.6 million Euro (previous year 5.9 million Euro).
Therefore BAUER Aktiengesellschaft increases its expectations for net
profit after tax for the financial year 2007 from so far at least 45
million Euro up to at least 50 million Euro. This corresponds to an
increase of 40 % above previous year's results (previous year 35.2
million Euro).
