Schrobenhausen, June 5, 2007 - (euro adhoc) - Today the international
rating agency Standard & Poor's raised the existing long-term rating
for the construction and equipment manufacturing group BAUER
Aktiengesellschaft, which since July 4, 2006 has been listed in
official trading (Prime Standard) on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, to
"BB+" outlook stable.

Standard & Poor's states that the key reasons for raising the rating
are the company's strong global market position and business
performance and its improving financial profile. The rating agency
also emphasizes Bauer's strong geographic diversification and the
consistent revenue and earnings growth over the past few years.
