Aachen (euro adhoc) - 1 June 2007 Parsytec AG - the world´s leading
supplier of surface and web inspection systems for strip products -
announces the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
and a change in the Supervisory Board.

After the Annual General Meeting on 23 May, 2007, Dr. Michael Becker
(48) was appointed as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dr. Becker
has already worked for Parsytec; between 2003 and 2004 he was
employed as Head of Finance. The CFO position was not occupied
lately.

Until his appointment as CFO, Dr. Becker was a member of the Parsytec
AG Supervisory Board. In his place the General Meeting elected Dr.
Guenter Bleimann-Gather to the Supervisory Board. The mathematician
with a doctorate is the owner and CEO of TEMA Technologie Marketing
AG, Aachen, and worked for Parsytec from 1990 to 1993 in managerial
positions. Rolf Geisen and Siegfried Hoffmann were also confirmed by
the General Meeting in their function as members of the Supervisory
Board. The Supervisory Board again elected Rolf Geisen as its
Chairman and Siegfried Hoffmann as its Deputy Chairman.

CEO Christoph Rau thanked the newly elected Supervisory Board and the
newly appointed CFO for their willingness to exercise these important
offices and stated he was looking forward to the cooperation.
