D.A.V.I.D. joins the Silex Media group

Strategic move in response to the increasing demand for efficient
solutions & services capable of optimizing the broadcast workflow

Silex Media and D.A.V.I.D., both established players in the
broadcast market, are uniting under a single roof to build a stronger
market position: Silex Media investor SGI Japan Limited announced
Tuesday it has acquired all of the shares in D.A.V.I.D. GmbH. Silex
Media CEO Stephan Schindler, together with D.A.V.I.D. CEO Gerhard
Möller, will begin to architect the two operations immediately. The
two organizations will continue to operate in parallel.

"D.A.V.I.D.'s solutions and IT expertise and its many years of
experience in radio are the perfect complement to our own offering of
products and services." says Schindler. "We will be able to deliver a
much broader product range through our new partner, while Silex Media
focuses on its competency as a systems integrator." Möller is equally
satisfied with the move: "Our customers and systems integrators will
benefit from the wider product range and integrated solutions."

The two companies together can now offer a wide range of
complementary products, from Silex Media's Hydrogen to D.A.V.I.D.'s
products used by Radio and TV stations for the acquisition,
management, desktop production and delivery/ broadcast of digital
media.

Silex Media and D.A.V.I.D. have worked together on a number of
projects throughout Europe already, including an integrated radio and
television production environment for Saarländischer Rundfunk (SR) in
Germany.
