Calyon Financial Launches MetalsEdge Web-Based Trading Platform

London and New York (ots/PRNewswire) -

Calyon Financial today released its web-based metals trading
platform, MetalsEdge, which gives global clients the ability to
electronically communicate orders. MetalsEdge provides execution on
the London Metal Exchange (LME) as well as other major global
derivatives exchanges, allowing Calyon Financial customers to trade
metals as well as other financial and commodity products across
global markets simultaneously from the same workstation.

With the MetalsEdge platform and its Category 1 LME membership,
Calyon Financial provides quick and user-friendly access for clients
and supports connectivity to LME Select, the LME's electronic trading
system. Electronic metals trading through Calyon Financial is
available during the normal LME Select trading hours of 01:00 to
19:00 BST. Alternatively, clients can contact Calyon Financial's
Metals Group directly which operates 24 hours with staff in London,
New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

In addition to the MetalsEdge trading platform, Calyon Financial
is also introducing a dedicated metals website,

orders on a real-time and historical basis. All entered trades are
also controlled by a pre-trade risk management system.
