1. We were advised in accordance with sec. 25 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - "WpHG") by SE Drive Technik
GmbH, Bochum, Germany, that on 6 March 2007 SE Drive Technik GmbH directly holds
financial instruments entitling SE Drive Technik GmbH to acquire 2,060,788
shares in REpower Systems AG, Alsterkrugchaussee 378, 22335 Hamburg, Germany
("REpower"), corresponding to 25.38 % of the voting rights in REpower. Had SE
Drive Technik GmbH acquired these shares, SE Drive Technik GmbH would have
exceeded the thresholds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 % of the voting rights in
REpower on this day. The right to acquire the shares in REpower may be exercised
at any time following the later of (i) the first anniversary of the end of the
additional acceptance period for the voluntary public takeover offer of Suzlon
Windenergie GmbH to the shareholders of REpower which is currently expected to
occur on or about 10 May 2007 ("Additional Acceptance Period"); or (ii) in case
Martifer SGPS, S.A., Oliveira de Frades, Portugal, and Martifer Energy Systems
SGPS, S.A., Oliveira de Frades, Portugal, notify SE Drive Technik GmbH within
one year after the end of the Additional Acceptance Period that the public
tender for the attribution of capacity to inject power into the public service
electricity system grid and associated reception points for electricity
generated by wind farms has been awarded to REpower Portugal - Sistemas Eólicos
S.A., the second anniversary of the end of the Additional Acceptance Period.
2. We were further advised in accordance with sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG by
AE-Rotor Holding BV, Hengelo Ov, The Netherlands, that on 6 March 2007 AE-Rotor
Holding BV indirectly holds financial instruments entitling to acquire 2,060,788
shares in REpower, corresponding to 25.38 % of the voting rights in REpower. Had
AE-Rotor Holding BV acquired these shares, AE-Rotor Holding BV would have
exceeded the thresholds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 % of the voting rights in
REpower on this day. The right to acquire the shares in REpower may be exercised
at any time following the later of (i) the first anniversary of the end of the
Additional Acceptance Period; or (ii) in case Martifer SGPS, S.A. and Martifer
Energy Systems SGPS, S.A. notify SE Drive Technik GmbH within one year after the
end of the Additional Acceptance Period that the public tender for the
attribution of capacity to inject power into the public service electricity
system grid and associated reception points for electricity generated by wind
farms has been awarded to REpower Portugal - Sistemas Eólicos S.A., the second
anniversary of the end of the Additional Acceptance Period. The financial
instruments are held indirectly through SE Drive Technik GmbH which is
controlled by AE-Rotor Holding BV.
3. We were further advised in accordance with sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG by
Suzlon Wind Energy Limited, c/o Chalfen Services Limited, London, United
Kingdom, that on 6 March 2007 Suzlon Wind Energy Limited indirectly holds
financial instruments entitling to acquire 2,060,788 shares in REpower,
corresponding to 25.38 % of the voting rights in REpower. Had Suzlon Wind Energy
Limited acquired these shares, Suzlon Wind Energy Limited would have exceeded
the thresholds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 % of the voting rights in REpower on this
day. The right to acquire the shares in REpower may be exercised at any time
following the later of (i) the first anniversary of the end of the Additional
Acceptance Period; or (ii) in case Martifer SGPS, S.A. and Martifer Energy
Systems SGPS, S.A. notify SE Drive Technik GmbH within one year after the end of
the Additional Acceptance Period that the public tender for the attribution of

Suzlon Energy Limited, c/o Corporate and Secretarial Services Centre Limited,
Port Louis, Mauritius, that on 6 March 2007 Suzlon Energy Limited indirectly
holds financial instruments entitling to acquire 2,060,788 shares in REpower,
corresponding to 25.38 % of the voting rights in REpower. Had Suzlon Energy
Limited acquired these shares, Suzlon Energy Limited would have exceeded the
thresholds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 % of the voting rights in REpower on this
day. The right to acquire the shares in REpower may be exercised at any time
following the later of (i) the first anniversary of the end of the Additional
Acceptance Period; or (ii) in case Martifer SGPS, S.A. and Martifer Energy

6. We were further advised in accordance with sec. 25 para.1 WpHG by the
individuals, companies and hindu undivided families ("HUF") listed hereinafter
(together the "Suzlon Shareholder Group"), that on 6 March 2007 each member of
the Suzlon Shareholder Group indirectly holds financial instruments entitling to
acquire 2,060,788 shares in REpower, corresponding to 25.38 % of the voting
rights in REpower. Had they acquired these shares, each member of the Suzlon
Shareholder Group would have exceeded the thresholds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 %
of the voting rights in REpower on this day. The right to acquire the shares in
REpower may be exercised at any time following the later of (i) the first
anniversary of the end of the Additional Acceptance Period; or (ii) in case
Martifer SGPS, S.A. and Martifer Energy Systems SGPS, S.A. notify SE Drive
Technik GmbH within one year after the end of the Additional Acceptance Period
that the public tender for the attribution of capacity to inject power into the
public service electricity system grid and associated reception points for
electricity generated by wind farms has been awarded to REpower Portugal -
Sistemas Eólicos S.A., the second anniversary of the end of the Additional
