Notification in line with Article 26 of the Securities Trading Act

We received the following notification in line with the Securities
Trading Act:

In a letter dated February 23, 2007, Fidelity International (UK)
informed KarstadtQuelle AG about the following:

"Hiermit teilen wir Ihnen gemäß § 41 (4a) WpHG mit, dass der
Stimmrechtsanteil der FMR Corp., 82 Devonshire Street, Boston,
Massachusetts 02109, USA, an der Karstadt Quelle AG,
Theodor-Althoff-Str. 2, 45133 Essen, Deutschland, am 22. Februar 2007
die Schwelle von 3% unterschritten hat und nun 2,97% (6.255.979
Anteile) beträgt. Die Stimmrechte werden der FMR Corp. gemäß § 22 (1)
2 WpHG i.V.m. § 22 (1) 1 Nr. 6 WpHG zugerechnet."

Translation of the notification: "In line with Article 41 (4a) of the
Securities Trading Act, we hereby inform you that the share of voting
rights of FMR Corp., 82 Devonshire Street, Boston, Massachusetts
02109, USA in Karstadt Quelle AG, Theodor-Althoff-Str. 2, 45133
Essen, Germany, moved below the 3% threshold on February 22, 2007 and
now constitutes 2.97% (6,255,979 shares). The voting rights are
allocated to FMR Corp. in line with Article 22 (1) 2 of the
Securities Trading Act in combination with Article 22 (1) 1 no. 6 of
the Securities Trading Act."
