Duff & Phelps Opens a Paris Office

Duff & Phelps, one of the world's leading independent financial
advisory firms, has announced the opening of a new office in Paris,
France as part of its continued European expansion.

Yann Magnan has joined the firm as a Managing Director to open and
lead the Paris office. He has more than 11 years of experience,
advising clients on international transactions, corporate finance and
related valuation matters, including business valuations, intangible
asset valuations, tax valuations and transaction advisory.

Mr. Magnan joins Duff & Phelps from Ernst & Young France where he
was the Southwest Europe leader for the Valuation & Business Modeling
practice. While at Ernst & Young France, Mr. Magnan performed
numerous purchase price allocations and asset impairment tests for
purposes of both IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Mr. Magnan was responsible for
developing financial reporting valuation expertise at Ernst & Young
France and was involved in firm-wide working groups on those issues.

Mr. Magnan graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Engineering
from the Ecole Centrale Paris. He has presented numerous lectures on
valuation- related topics in France and abroad.
