Stuttgart, February 14, 2007 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading
provider of electronic product information solutions and catalog
management systems, increased Group revenues in the first quarter of
fiscal year 2006/07 (10/01/2006 - 12/31/2006) from 2.16 million Euro
to 2.51 million Euro and net income for the period from 0.13 million
Euro to 0.44 million Euro and so established records for sales
revenues and net income.

The positive business development stems mainly from new cus-tomers in
Germany and the US and relates mainly to the strong margin field of
the product-related business. License revenues increased from 0.65
million EUR to 0.89 million EUR (+37%) when compared to the good
value of the corresponding period of the prior year. Maintenance
revenues increased from 0.24 million Euro to 0.38 million Euro
(+62%). Hosting and so-called Application Service Providing
(ASP)-revenues improved from 0.16 million Euro to 0.19 million Euro
(+19%). The successful completion of an implementation phase of a
bigger customer project led to a temporary decrease in consulting
revenues from 1.04 million Euro to 0.98 million Euro (-5%).

The growth in the product-related business led to an increase of
gross profit from 1.32 million Euro to 1.70 million Euro and to an
improvement of gross margin from 61% to 67% when compared to the
corresponding period of the prior year. The increase in sales and
marketing expenses due to the planned expansion of the international
sales organization (+0.25 million EUR) and increased research and
development expenses resulting from the merger of OKS Software AG are
the main reasons, that in spite of the strong increase in sales
revenues, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) with 0.05 million
EUR remained at about the level of the prior year.

The increase in the results of interest led to a strong improvement
of earnings before taxes from 0.12 million Euro to 0.44 million Euro
and of net income for the period from 0.13 million Euro to 0.44
million Euro. Accordingly, earnings per share increased from 0.01
Euro to 0.04 Euro. Therewith, Heiler Software recorded its best
quarterly results of its corporate history.
