Fraport Gets New CFO / Supervisory Board Approves Appointment of Dr. Matthias Zieschang

Fraport AG's supervisory board today approved the appointment of
Dr. Matthias Zieschang (age 46) as the company's new executive board
member responsible for finance (chief financial officer or CFO). Dr.
Zieschang is currently the executive board member for finance and
controlling at DB Netz AG.

Born in Höxter, Germany, Zieschang is married and the father of
three daughters. He will take over as CFO from Dr. Stefan Schulte,
who in an earlier supervisory board decision was appointed Fraport
vice chairmanship effective April 1, 2007. Dr. Schulte succeeds
Prof. Manfred Schölch, who has reached retirement after 36 years of
service.

After graduating from a business high school in Ludwigshafen.
Zieschang studied national economics and business administration at
the University of Mannheim. Under a three-year assistant position at
the Technical University of Darmstadt, he received his "Dr. rer.
pol." degree in economics. Also during this time, he was guest
lecturer at the renowned Tongji University of Shanghai, China.

Zieschang began his professional career in 1990 as a specialist
for capital market financing at BASF AG in Ludwigshafen. In 1994 he
moved to Deutsche Bahn AG, where he served as the department head of
financial strategy and planning, and later as department head of
project and investment financing. In 1999 he assumed the executive
board position for finance, controlling and information technology
(IT) at Scandlines AG in Rostock - a joint venture of Deutsche Bahn
AG and the Kingdom of Denmark. At the request of Deutsche Bahn AG,
he took on the job of executive board member for finance and
controlling at DB Netz AG in 2001, where until now he has been
responsible for the company's restructuring process.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG, DB Netz AG is an
infrastructure company with more than 40,000 employees responsible
for the operation and maintenance of Deutsche Bahn's approximately
34,000 kilometer-long rail network.

Fraport AG's supervisory board chairman and Hessian State minister
Karlheinz Weimar welcomed Zieschang appointment: "We're bringing a
highly qualified manager on board. Thus, during this particularly
challenging time for the company we expect Dr. Zieschang to forge
strong finance policy in the future, with the confidence of
shareholders, customers, and business partners alike."

Fraport's executive board chairman Dr. Wilhelm Bender is looking
forward to working with the new CFO. He said, "The coming years of
airport expansion, the incremental development of Frankfurt Airport
City, and the market challenge - in view of capacity constraints and
redevelopment of internal structures - require a new CFO with special
expertise, alertness, and energy." "We are pleased," continued
Bender, "that we could fill this position with such a proven
specialist."
