Betbull awarded betting licences in Italy Betbull Plc ("Betbull")
announces that it has been awarded four new betting licences
following the recently completed tender process organised by the
Italian authorities. Overall four licenses were awarded in the cities
of Milano and Como covering a full betting unit and a betting outlet
(shop in shop unit) each. Betting units will be retail units
dedicated to the purpose of Sports betting whilst betting outlets
will be ‘shop in shop’ operations where a Betbull horse betting
service will be offered as an additional product to the core
business. Betbull`s strategy is to establish a presence in the
Italian retail betting market whilst carefully evaluating the
potential for further growth. Commenting on today’s announcement
Simon Bold, Director of Betbull, said: "We are happy with the result
of the tender process and look forward to establishing a foothold in
the Italian retail betting market. We will cautiously seek to expand
our interests as the environment settles down and a clear value
emerges for the licences that have been awarded. We believe there
will be opportunities to cost effectively add significant numbers of
