With effect from 1 January 2007, TOMORROW FOCUS AG has acquired a further 0.4% of Playboy Deutschland Publishing GmbH, founded in 2003. Until now FOCUS Magazin Verlag GmbH and TOMORROW FOCUS AG have each held an equal stake in the joint venture’s print and online rights. TOMORROW FOCUS AG will now hold 50.4% of the company and exercise a controlling influence at Playboy Deutschland Publishing GmbH, which could however be ended by the exercising of an existing buyback right. In the first nine months of 2006, Playboy Deutschland’s sales compliant with IFRS totaled EUR 13.8 million. Nine-month earnings before taxes amounted to EUR 1.4 million.
