SinnerSchrader confirms preliminary figures for 2005/2006 and announces 15 % growth in revenues and an EBITA of EUR 1.2 million for 2006/2007

Hamburg (euro adhoc) - In its Annual Report submitted today,
SinnerSchrader has confirmed its preliminary figures for the
2005/2006 financial year which were published on 9 October 2006.
Revenues rose by 10.5 % compared to the previous year to reach EUR
15.8 million. The final operating earnings (EBITA) were EUR 0.6
million, up from EUR 0.2 million last year. The net income was more
than twice as high as the previous year, amounting to EUR 1.2
million, or EUR 0.10 per share. SinnerSchrader thus met or surpassed
its goals for the 2005/2006 financial year.
The liquidity reserve amounted to EUR 10.0 million at the end of the
financial year on 31 August 2006. This was slightly below the
previous year's figure of EUR 10.5 million due to an increase in
capital expenditure. The equity ratio stood at 76.5 % (previous year:
75.2 %).
In light of the positive signals from its market environment,
SinnerSchrader is planning for organic growth of 15 % and revenues of
over EUR 18 million for the current 2006/2007 financial year. Thanks
to a reduced fixed cost basis following the move to new office
premises in Hamburg as of 1 August 2006, operating earnings will
continue to grow at a disproportionately high rate to reach an
anticipated EUR 1.2 million in 2006/2007, approximately twice the
result achieved in 2005/2006.
The medium-term goal is still to attain an operating margin between
10 % and 12 % with double-digit organic growth annually.
SinnerSchrader is banking on innovative projects to reach this goal.
The most recent example of this is the cooperation with Microsoft and
the mail-order company OTTO for the creation of a reference online
shop built on the new Windows Vista operating system. Acquisitions to
create additional options for growth also remain on the agenda.
