Cologne, 13th November 2006. VIVACON AG (ISIN DE0006048911) has achieved in the three months of the third quarter the best Q3 result in the company’s history. Selling volume of notarized residential units more than thirty-fold increased and rose to EUR 225.3m in Q3 2006 versus EUR 6.7m in the same period of last year. Revenues in Q3 2006 amounted to EUR 35.6m, which is an increase of 228% against EUR 10.9m in Q3 2005. EBIT and net income increased approximately tenfold in Q3 2006 compared to the same quarter last year. EBIT amounted to EUR 30.0m in Q3 2006 compared to EUR 3.0m in the same period of the preceding year. Net income amounted to EUR 17.2m in Q3 2006 against EUR 1.8m in Q3 2005.
Earnings per share in Q3 2006 increased to EUR 0.89 versus EUR 0.10 over last year (+790%).
Accordingly, 9M results have developed positively. Selling volume of notarized residential units twenty-fold increased to EUR 352.4m (9M 2005: EUR 17.5m) and revenues amounted to EUR 91.3m following EUR 23.6m in the same period of 2005 (+288%). EBIT improved to EUR 40.7m (9M 2005: EUR 9.9m, +312%) and net income rose to EUR 21.6m in 9M 2006 in comparison to EUR 5.4m in 9M 2005 (+296%). EPS amounted to EUR 1.12 following EUR 0.32 in the same period of last year (+250%).
As of 30 September 2006, order backlog amounted to EUR 50.5m, an increase of 79% compared to EUR 28.2m as of 30 September 2005.
The management confirms its communicated full year guidance.
