IVU Traffic Technologies AG has generated a gross profit of some EUR
15.9 million in the first nine months of 2006. That means that this
key indicator of value creation for a software house has risen by EUR
1 million or 7 percent over the same period in the previous year. The
nine-month revenue of EUR 18.7 million, in contrast, is slightly
lower than in the previous year; a particularly large hardware order
had pushed revenues up in Q3 2005.

EBIT has improved by almost EUR 0.4 million y-on-y, and is at - EUR
0.9 million. The nine-month group loss of - EUR 1.1 million is a
weaker result than in the previous year. However, if allow-ance is
made for a waived bank repayment in Q3 2005, then the nine-month
group result in 2006 is also better than that for the corresponding
period in the previous year.

Although Q3 2006, with revenue of about EUR 5.9 million and a gross
profit of EUR 5.3 million, is somewhat weak, this is balanced out by
the particularly good figures for the first six months of the
financial year. And at the same time the company is expecting a
strong fourth quarter.

In all, the figures indicate a further stabilisation of the company.
More than 60% of the reve-nue planned for the current financial year
has already been generated, representing a sound basis for the start
of the final quarter.

The company goals for 2006 remain unchanged: achieving revenue of
above EUR 30 million and a gross profit of about EUR 25 million, in
combination with a considerable improvement in EBIT.

The order books continue to look very good at the start of Q4. Some
95% of the planned revenues and some 93% of the planned gross profit
in the current financial year are already accounted for by the work
completed and outstanding orders.
