Nordex awarded contracts worth over EUR 69 million in France

28 turbines with an output of approx. 70 MW to be constructed in seven wind farms

Hamburg, November 6, 2006 - Nordex AG has been awarded three project
contracts for the turnkey construction of seven wind farms comprising
a total of 28 N90 turbines in France. The combined value of the
contracts for Nordex stands at over EUR 69 million. For its customer
Eurocape Nordex will build the "Callengeville" project comprising
three wind farms with 14 turbines in Normandy as well as the "Lislet"
project with two turbines in the Region Aines. Nordex will be
erecting up a further twelve turbines in three wind farms as part of
the "Boulay" project for the customers Iberdrola, Poweo and Boreas in
the Lorraine region in the north-east of France. For the "Lislet"
project the manufacturer will supply two N90 series 2.3 MW turbines
on 100 metre towers, for the other projects N90 2.5 MW LS turbines
will be utilised. In addition to the delivery of the turbine, the
contracts also provide for Nordex to build the access routes,
foundation works and handle all electrical work including the
transformer and grid connection. The turbines will be producing clean
electricity as of the fourth quarter of 2007.

The N90 turbine is currently one of Nordex’s top-selling turbines
around the world. "With a nominal output of 2.3 or 2.5 megawatts and
specially designed for locations with lower average wind speeds, this
turbine promises optimum annual yields," says Carsten Pedersen, COO
Sales and Marketing at Nordex AG. The mean wind speed at the wind
farms above is around 6.6 m/s.

This year, Nordex will be installing wind turbine capacity of over
300 megawatts in France, thus reinforcing its leading position in
this crucial growth market.
