EMIS Prepares for MedifyRemote Roll Out

Toronto, Canada, November 2 (ots/PRNewswire) - EMIS, the UK's
leading provider of IT systems to the primary care market is
preparing to make the MedifyRemote product available across its UK
customer base.

Approximately 55% of all doctors in the UK currently use EMIS
software each day.

EMIS has been instrumental, through the NHS pilots, making sure
the product not only meets customers needs but also the pre-requisite
national standards of security required for a national solution.
MedifyRemote, delivered as part of the EMIS Partner Programme, will
lead the way in real time mobile secure access for fully functional
remote patient record access.

improve the provision of healthcare, benefiting clinicians and

MedifyRemote delivers the highest approved level of security for
remote access to patient notes anywhere anytime and due to the
functionality of MedifyRemote, Doctors can access and view patient
notes and historical information, to ensure continuity of care and
clinical accuracy. In a single secure transaction, the patient visit
and any actions are recorded directly through the MedifyRemote
product and updated real-time into the patient's medical record held
at the doctor's surgery.

MedifyRemote will be available through Medify's approved, secure
mobile connection to the NHS National Spine (N3) for viewing and
updating patient records.

The MedifyRemote product will be available on a Microsoft platform
and Blackberry devices alike.
