SMARTRAC N.V. announced today that it has received positive feedback and indications of significant interest from German and international institutional investors since the beginning of its IPO road show on March 14.
Since the beginning of the marketing phase, certain individuals have been deliberately briefing the media and writing letters making certain allegations against the company and its CEO while making financial demands.
The company denies these allegations but has decided, together with its bank advisors, to postpone the IPO to ensure an orderly offering and to protect investors. The IPO is on hold until the facts underlying the allegations have been clarified. The company is considering legal action against the persons responsible for these allegations.
