The senate for cartel proceedings of the higher regional court of Düsseldorf has indicated in its hearing today on 20 September 2006 that the appeal of Sanacorp eG Pharmazeutische Großhandlung against the decree of the German Federal Cartel Office, which had interdicted the intended acquisition of a majority in Andreae-Noris Zahn AG, Frankfurt am Main, (ANZAG) by the Sanacorp corporate group, may be dismissed. The court now wants to consider the additional arguments presented in the hearing today for its final decision. The court's ruling is announced for 29 September 2006.
Sanacorp eG Pharmazeutische Großhandlung holds 100% of the votes in Sanacorp Pharmahandel Aktiengesellschaft; about 25% of the registered capital of the latter are listed as preferred shares on the stock exchange (ISIN DE0007163131).
