Saarbrücken, July 27, 2006. ItN Nanovation AG has completed
bookbuilding successfully applying a fixed-price procedure. Including
over allotments, a total of 1,380,442 shares were allocated at a
price of EUR 20. The issue volume therefore amounts to about EUR 27.6
million. Official trading in the Prime Standard at Frankfurt Stock
Exchange is to start on July 28, 2006.

Circa 7.5 per cent of the shares offered for subscription (including
over allotments) were placed with private investors. Since the issue
was oversubscribed significantly, shares were allocated to the
private investors of the banking syndicate by drawing lots, in which
every fifth order was allotted with 20 per cent of its demand.

In the context of a preferential allocation procedure, 355,114 shares
were allocated to each of the two strategic investors Dr Wilfried
Stoll and Dr h.c. Kurt Stoll, 8,450 shares to shareholders of
Nanostart AG and 23,397 shares to employees and members of the
supervisory board of ItN Nanovation AG, among others, as part of a
"Friends & Family" programme.
