Monteray Enterprises Ltd. increases stake in TUI AG to 15.01 per cent

Limassol, Zypern (ots) - Limassol, Cyprus, 2 July 2008
Monteray Enterprises Ltd., a company indirectly wholly-owned by
Mr. John Fredriksen, notified TUI AG, the German container shipping
and tourism company, and the German Federal Financial Supervisory
Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht, BaFin)
today that it now holds 37,715,000 shares in TUI AG, representing
approximately 15.01 per cent of the registered share capital of TUI
AG.
Mr. Fredriksen, through Monteray Enterprises Ltd., continues to be
the largest shareholder in TUI AG.
