- Arnulf Komposch replaces Maria Ott on the Supervisory Board
- Dividend increased by 50 per cent to EUR 1.20.

At the 15th Annual General Meeting of AvW Invest AG, which was held
today in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee, Dr. Arnulf Komposch was elected
as a member of the Supervisory Board for a term of office expiring in
2011. As is the case for all members of AvW Invest AG´s Supervisory
Board, Dr. Komposch fulfils the criteria for the independence of
Supervisory Board members as required by the Austrian Corporate
Governance Code and is thus considered an independent holder of proxy
rights. Dr. Komposch´s principal professional activity is as Director
General of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs´ Consumer
Protection Department, a post which he has occupied since January
2004.

Effective today, Ms. Maria Ott resigned from her position as a member
of the Supervisory Board of AvW Invest AG. Ms. Ott, who was appointed
to the Supervisory Board in September 2002, resigns from her seat on
her own request.

The Annual General Meeting also resolved with a majority of more than
99,9 percent to increase the dividend by 50 per cent . Accordingly, a
dividend of EUR 1.20 per share will be distributed.

majority of more than 99,9 percent. The respective voting results and
