Positive Trend continues:
- Revenues increase to 17.8 Million Euro (previous year 16,6)
- Software Revenues amount to 4.2 Million Euro (previous year 3,5)
- EBITDA rises to 0.4 Million Euro (previous year 0,1)
- EBT improves to ?0,7 Million Euro (previous year ?0,9)
The SoftM Software und Beratung AG (ISIN DE0007249104), Munich was
able to noticeably increase both revenues and result compared to the
same quarter of the previous year. Total revenues amounted to 17.8
million Euro (previous year 16.6), an increase of 1.2 million Euro or
7 % compared to the same quarter last year. In spite of the
considerable one-time marketing outlays related to the announcement
of the new ERP software Greenax the EBITDA rose by 0.3 million Euro
to 0.4 million Euro (previous year ?0.9) and the EBT increased by 0.2
million Euro to -0.7 Euro (previous year ?0.9). In comparison to the
same quarter of the previous year, the consolidated group was
expanded by the takeover of the Solitas Informatik AG.
The standard software sector came to 4.2 million Euro (previous year
3.5) a clear increase of 20% compared to the previous year. The
Solitas Informatik AG, which was taken over in the Summer of 2005,
played a significant role in the attainment of the high quarterly
revenues in this unit. Consulting revenues came to 5.2 million Euro
in the first three months of the business year thereby almost
reaching the previous year's level (previous year 5.4) The business
unit system integration rose in the first quarter by 9% to 8.4
million Euro (previous year 7.7).
The operating result before taxes, interest and depreciations
(EBITDA) was 0.4 million Euro, which exceeded the result by 0.3
million of the previous year (previous year 0.1). The result of
normal business activities EBT improved in the first quarter to ?0.7
million Euro (previous year ?0.9). The quarterly surplus came to ?0.4
million Euro (previous year ?0.6). Result per share amounted to
?0.09 (previous year ?0.12). SoftM showed an operating cash flow from
normal business activities in the first quarter of 6.4 million Euro
(previous year. 11.9).
The Board continues to assume that the orders situation for 2006 will
improve slightly and is predicting planned revenues of 82 million
Euro. Due to the costs associated with the introduction of the new
Greenax product which cannot be compensated for by corresponding
revenues in 2006, it is expected that results before taxes (EBT) will
be at approximately the same level as in the previous year (2,1
million Euro).
