Prenzlau/Oldenburg (euro adhoc) - aleo solar AG today announced that
it continues to expand its market position in Europe. Customers from
Germany, Spain, Italy and Greece have ordered additional aleo modules
worth more than EUR 35 million for the current year. Together with
the contracts previously reported, the current contract volume of
aleo solar AG for the year 2008 amounts to over EUR 150 million.

While German and Spanish customers have long played a part in aleo
solar´s strong revenue growth, Italy and Greece are now becoming
increasingly important markets. "Italy and Greece are developing into
two significant pillars of our foreign business," said Jakobus Smit,
CEO of aleo solar AG. In January, aleo solar expanded its presence in
Italy with the establishment of aleo solar Italia S.r.l., and there
has been an aleo solar sales team in Greece since 2007. "We are
striving for widespread coverage of Europe´s core markets," Smit
added.

This growth is possible because production capacity at aleo solar´s
Prenzlau site will nearly double. Heiner Willers, a member of the
Management Board of aleo solar AG, said, "Construction is in full
swing and we are right on target. By the end of 2008, the Group will
have a total production capacity of 180 megawatts." In addition to
expanding its production plant, aleo solar is building a logistics
centre with an automatic warehouse which will directly supply
specialist dealers and installers.
