HR specialist to take over personnel leasing solution and human
resources division of ecosys

Wiesbaden (euro adhoc) - With effect as of April 1st, 2008, P&I GmbH,
Vienna, will be taking over E-PM and eco-STAFF, the HR business
divisions of ecosys Informationstechnologie Gesellschaft m.b.H.,
Steyr.
ecosys is a Microsoft partner and a supplier of ERP solutions for the
SME sector in Austria. ecosys is hiving off its human resources
business divisions for strategic reasons. In the future the companies
of the FWI Group, which ecosys also belongs to, will concentrate on
their core business. The plan foresees jointly offering a total
business management solution together with P&I GmbH and also
tailoring this to international requirements - from business
management process support to human resources.
As a result of the takeover of the E-PM business division - the human
resources management solution of ecosys - P&I will be taking over
about 80 customers in the SME sector - primarily in the public
sector. "This will result in interesting synergy effects for P&I
through the P&I HCM product", remarked Manfred Nagl, the managing
director of P&I GmbH, Vienna.
By purchasing eco-STAFF - an industry business solution for manpower
providers that covers the complete business process from the
distribution and deployment planning function including performance
documentation, as well as corporate management - P&I GmbH will be
supplementing its portfolio for this promising business area.
"Furthermore, P&I will be gaining a highly attractive staff of
employees with a high level of specialist knowledge and an excellent
understanding of the human resources processes that have to be
mapped", says Nagl. "For us the location in Steyr and the resulting
customer proximity with regard to the existing and target market in
Upper Austria are additional factors in favour of this investment in
the future".
Nagl primarily regards the product supplements as an attractive
opportunity to develop new business options - especially within the
strategic partnership with the corporate group of FWI Information
Technology Gesellschaft m.b.H. and at the international level.
The eleven employees of the HR business division of ecosys will be
taken over by P&I GmbH and will thus be integrated into a stock
exchange listed and independent corporate group with a European
orientation.
The parties have agreed to maintain secrecy with respect to the
amount of the purchase price.
