Tunc Holding AG: Contract with Motorola about operations at Turkish Vodafone networks

Zürich (euro adhoc) - Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S., the Turkish
subsidiary of Tunc Holding AG, announces the conclusion of an
agreement with Motorola (Buyukdere cad. Harman sok. No. 4 Levent,
34330 Istanbul) about upgrading and expansion of Vodafone´s GSM
networks in Turkey. The Vodafone Turkey Project comprises the
upgrading of the existing GSM network and the implementation of new
GSM network systems. For the next five years the contract will be
prolonged every year for a period of another twelve months. The aim
of Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. is to obtain the assignment for
implementing of more than 1000 of a total of 5500 sites Motorola has
planned to implement. The expected value for the year 2008 is about
US $ 11 M. As agreed upon, Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S has started the
site engineering and installation as well as supplying essential
equipment already. After finishing this assignment there could
possibly follow an agreement about service and maintenance work on
the network.

Within the scope of the Vodafone Turkey Project, Tunc
Telekomünikasyon A.S. has also tendered service and maintenance work
of electricity transmission lines, infrastructure and air
conditioning systems. An offer issued at the end of January 2008
refers to Bursa, a Turkish region with 704 sites. Another offer dated
at 11.03.2008 refers to the region of Ankara with 918 sites. In case
of a commissioning the contract volume would be a total of US $ 3 M.
per year.

Tunc Holding AG was founded in November 2007 and provides engineering
and support services in the area of telecommunications systems
through its seven subsidiaries. The Tunc Holding subsidiaries are
active in twelve countries in Asia Minor, Western and Central Asia as
well as in Eastern Europe. Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. as operational
nerve centre of the group is located in Ankara, Turkey. The Turkish
subsidiary operates as highly qualified provider in the GSM sector
since 1992. The services include a broad range from site survey and
infrastructure to the implementation and maintenance of
telecommunications systems. Since 1996 the activities have been
continuously expanded to include the area of electricity distribution
systems with associated services, renewable energy and internet
technology.
