Tunc Holding AG: Offer to LLC Warid Telecom for WiMAX project in Georgia

Zürich (euro adhoc) - Bronz Telekom, the Georgian subsidiary of Tunc
Holding AG, has emitted an offer in the scope of a bid invitation to
LLC Warid Telecom in Gerogia (36 Lasatiani Str. 0105, Tiflis) on the
4th of March 2008. The possibly resulting contract volume would be
about $ US 9 Mio. LLC Warid Telecom is a subsidiary of Pakistani
provider Warid Telecom and in the scope of a state sponsored auction
won a license for the development of 3.5 GHz WiMAX spectrum in
Georgia. This license includes requirements so that Warid has to
launch services within twelve months and ensure that coverage of all
twelve regions of the country occur within three years.

The Offer of Bronz Telekom with a volume of about $ US 9 Mio.
contains planning and implementation of 400 turnkey WiMax radio
installations (Network Implementation) - which is about 80% of the
total project - within 24 months. After this there could follow a
contract about maintenance-failure services of the project. WiMAX
(=Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is a broadband
technology for internet access via radio and popular in newly
industrialising and third world countries.

For quite some time Tunc Holding AG CEO Bulent Recepoglu is
intimately following the WiMAX project. Together with Marwan
Zawaydeh, who is Board Director and Board Executive Committee Member
of Warid Telecom´s Group the possibilities of Tunc Holding AG´s
subsidiaries to invest and work together in the countries where the
Warid Telecom is actively working are being evaluated.

through its seven subsidiaries engineering and support services in
the area of telecommunications systems. Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. as
operational nerve centre of the group is located in Ankara, Turkey.
The Turkish subsidiary operates as highly qualified provider in the
GSM sector since 1992. The Tunc Holding subsidiaries are active in
twelve countries in Asia Minor, Western and Central Asia as well as
in Eastern Europe. The broad range of services includes from site
survey and infrastructure to the implementation and maintenance of
telecommunications systems. Since 1996, the activities have been
continuously expanded to include the area of electricity distribution
systems with associated services, renewable energy and internet
technology.
