Preliminary Figures Fiscal Year 2007

init innovation in traffic systems AG has exceeded both its sales and
earnings targets for 2007. According to the preliminary figures now
available, the telematics specialist generated revenues of 46.8 mio.
EUR (forecast: 45 mio. EUR) in the preceding fiscal year (as at 31
December), corresponding to an increase of 29 percent on the previous
year (36.3 mio. EUR). The earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT)
rose by over 28 percent to 7.2 mio. EUR (forecast: 6.5 mio. EUR,
previous year: 5.6 mio. EUR).

The consolidated net profit for the year improved by more than 56
percent to 5.3 mio. EUR (previous year: 3.4 mio. EUR), while the
earnings per share bettered to 0.54 EUR (2006: 0.36 EUR). On the
whole, sales and earnings thus rose once more to new heights. A
further new record was set for the level of orders - as at the end of
2007 this figure stood at more than 100 mio. EUR (2006: 61.1 mio.
EUR).

A crucial factor in the significant growth in 2007 were specifically
the hardware deliveries for major projects in New York and Vancouver,
which commenced in the latter half of the year. In terms of new
orders, init benefited from winning major contracts in Seattle, Dubai
and from the Deutsche Bahn Stadtverkehr in Bavaria, each with a
volume in the two-digit millions.

Based on these large-scale contracts and further projects awaiting a
decision in the next few months, the Managing Board is confident that
the dynamic growth experienced in the previous year will continue in
2008. Specific projections for the current fiscal year will be
published together with the full annual report of init innovation in
traffic systems AG on March 26, 2008.
