Announced return to profitable territory on target - Operating result
up 16%, break even quarterly result

Nuremberg, May 11, 2006 - In the first quarter of financial year
2006, TA Triumph-Adler AG, the specialists in document business
efficiency, achieved consolidated sales of EUR 87.6 million,
exceeding the previous year's level of EUR 85.8 million by 2.1
percent.

The result before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased in the
reporting period to EUR 2.9 million (previous year: EUR 2.5 million).
This represents a growth of around 16 percent. As in the previous
year's quarter, this figure includes one-time expenses of EUR 0.7
million arising in connection with the restructuring of the TA
Triumph-Adler Group, which is proceeding to plan. A quarterly result
of EUR 0.1 million was generated in the first quarter of 2006
(previous year: EUR 0.2 million). As a result, TA Triumph-Adler AG
considers it is on target to return to profitable territory in 2006
as planned.

The balance sheet total as of March 31, 2006, came to EUR 432.7
million compared to EUR 422.2 million at December 31, 2005. The
increase is primarily due to acquisition activity in the first
quarter of 2006 which saw the acquisition of the business of Derksen
Bürokommunikation, Kleve, and Schuss Office Systems, Vienna.

The cash flow statement for the first quarter 2006 shows net cash
from ordinary operation of EUR 6.0 million compared to an outflow of
funds of EUR 12.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
