exceeded the threshold of 3% of the voting rights of Arcandor AG,
Germany, and on that day holds 4.52% of the voting rights (=
10,003,457 shares, each carrying one voting right); and

The holding entity of Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, USA, on 14
December, 2007, has also exceeded the threshold of 3% of the voting
rights of Arcandor AG, Germany, and on that day holds 4.52% (=
10,003,457 shares, each carrying one voting right), whereby these
voting rights are attributed to it pursuant to Section 22 para. 1
sent. 1 No. 1 Germany Securities Trading Act."
