GN Netcom Gears up for 2008 With Wave of Senior Appointments

Geschrieben am 18-12-2007

Copenhagen (ots/PRNewswire) - GN Netcom, the world leader in
innovative headset solutions, today announced a raft of new
appointments that will help meet the company's ambitious goals in
2008 and beyond.

"2008 promises to be a very important year in the history of GN
Netcom," said Toon Bouten, President and CEO of GN Store Nord A/S.
"We will be launching a number of landmark products, continue our
strong performance in Europe, and we will be moving to build market
share in other key regions such as North America and Asia Pacific. I
am delighted to welcome on board some exceptional new talent and I'm
confident the new team will help us meet our ambitious goals."

Jacob Schambye is appointed Senior Vice President of GN Netcom and
General Manager of GN Netcom Global Sales, reporting to Toon Bouten.
Schambye, a Danish citizen based in Copenhagen, will be responsible
for GN Netcom's sales organizations worldwide (with the exception of
GN Netcom's Mobile OEM business). Schambye was most recently Vice
President and General Manager of GN Netcom Europe, Middle East, and
Africa (EMEA).

Jurgen Fischer will replace Jacob Schambye and assume the position
of Vice President of GN Netcom and General Manager of GN Netcom EMEA.
Fischer, a German citizen based in Munich, joined GN in 2001 as
Managing Director for Central Europe Region.

Phyllis McCullagh will assume the position of Vice President of GN
Netcom and General Manager of GN Netcom North America, reporting to
Jacob Schambye. McCullagh will replace David Wood, who will be
leaving GN end-2007. McCullagh joins GN Netcom from Infocus where she
was Vice President of its Americas Business Unit. She brings
extensive experience in managing large technology sales organizations
with a strong focus on enterprise channel sales.

Shaz Khan has been appointed to the role of Vice President of GN
Netcom and General Manager of GN Netcom Asia Pacific, also reporting
to Jacob Schambye. Khan will replace Christian Tang-Jespersen who
left GN earlier this year. Khan joins GN from Dell Corporation, where
he most recently served as Director, Enterprise Sales and Operations
for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Greg England will continue as Vice President and General Manager
of OEM Sales, responsible for GN Netcom's business with Mobile
OEM-manufacturers and he will continue to report to Toon Bouten.
