Trading Act ('WpHG')

1. Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, DJ Heerlen, The Netherlands, informed us
pursuant to sec. 21 (1) WpHG that on April 27, 2007, the voting rights in
Versatel AG, Berlin, passed the threshold of 3%. On that date, Stichting
Pensioenfonds ABP held 4,77% in relation to all voting rights in Versatel
AG (voting rights arising from 2.100.000 ordinary shares (Stammaktien);
Versatel AG has issued ordinary shares only).

2. Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, DJ Heerlen, The Netherlands, informed us
pursuant to sec. 21 (1) WpHG that on May 31, 2007, the voting rights in
Versatel AG, Berlin, passed the threshold of 5%. On that date, Stichting
Pensioenfonds ABP held 6,28% in relation to all voting rights in Versatel
AG (voting rights arising from 2.763.109 ordinary shares (Stammaktien);
Versatel AG has issued ordinary shares only).

3. Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, DJ Heerlen, The Netherlands, informed us
pursuant to sec. 21 (1) WpHG that on November 21, 2007, the voting rights
in Versatel AG, Berlin, fell below the threshold of 5% and 3%. On that
date, Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP held 0,86% in relation to all voting
rights in Versatel AG (voting rights arising from 377.645 ordinary shares
(Stammaktien); Versatel AG has issued ordinary shares only).
