Segment switch complete - Leonardo Venture listed in Prime Standard on the Frankfurt Securities Exchange

Mannheim (euro adhoc) - From today on, the shares of Leonardo Venture
GmbH & Co. KGaA are listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt
Securities Exchange. Having been one of the first enterprises to
decide on a listing in the Entry Standard in October 2005, the
Company now, however, counts amongst those pioneers that have opted
to switch segments into the Prime Standard. The early-stage financier
last week successfully completed a capital increase. "The switch to
the Prime Standard is for us a clear affirmation of our growth
strategy and an investment in the future," explains Managing Director
Prof. Udo Wupperfeld.

Prime Standard companies are subject to strict - internationally
normal - transparency requirements, which go far beyond the scope
that previously applied to Leonardo Venture. The Prime Standard is
tailored to the needs of companies seeking to position themselves,
especially vis-à-vis international investors, through a high level of
transparency. With its switch to the Prime Standard, therefore,
Leonardo Venture will be able to broaden its shareholder base
significantly.

The low level of attention paid to the Entry Standard, and the
limited opportunities as a result to communicate with investors,
analysts and journalists, led Leonardo Venture to switch to the Prime
Standard. Managing Director Prof. Hans-Georg Köglmayr has great
expectations for future development: "We will be able to exploit the
greater attention now paid to us. Our primary goal will be to reduce
the existing valuation discount between the book value of our
participations and the market capitalization of Leonardo Venture
within the context of an active and open communication policy."
