MEDION AG: Strong growth in sales of approximately 40% in Q3 2007
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of MEDION AG for the 3rd quarter of 2007 will improve from EUR-7.9 million in 2006 to approximately EUR3.5 million. The development is fueled by a significantly higher than expected growth in sales by approximately 40% to approximately EUR330 million. This positive development was caused by increased demand in all areas but especially in the international back-to-school business.
Demand continues to be strong in October 2007, due in particular to successful marketing activities and the launch of the new design line MEDION Life.
